Solano ran as part of the California Fair Circuit. It had the days
between Pleasanton and Santa Rosa. It had s purse value index of 30.
Poor attendance was cited as the reason for the track closing, but the
real reason was the value of the land. Solano was the last California
Fair to open and the first to go out of business.
In the final race ever at Solano two horse had the distinction of being the last horse ever to cross the wire. Blue on Black and Haydensinahurry finished in a dead heat for last.
